Ever since I was young, I always wanted to know how things worked so I would take them apart, fix it if it was broken and then put it back together again. I quickly became the go to guy in my family when something was broken. I get great joy in working with my hands and making something work again, or restore something that's been neglected back to its original or better condition than when it was new!
My first paid experience was when I was 15. I learned how to do many things around the house that needed attention, so I worked for my elderly neighbor who had a large home with a barn and horses. I basically took care of all of his to do lists from mending fences to pruning trees, to painting the barn to fixing his riding lawnmower and he was always pleased with my work.
My first car was a Fiat 850 Spider. Needless to say, it broke down on me on the way home from purchasing it. Since I was sixteen with little money, I needed to quickly learn everything I could about this car. The first thing it needed was an engine rebuild. I bought a Chilton manual and did the entire job myself. Later I did all the body work and put a bright red lacquer paint job on the car. It was a great learning experience which led to many other cars and boats I restored.
From there, I became a home owner and father which allowed me to further my repertoire of home repair and remodeling skills as well as furniture assembly, cabinet making, and the most important children's toy repair.
But besides fixing a multitude of things besides cars and boats, I also play the piano, write music and have a website with original artwork I've done. Feel free to vistit my home page at www.pgproductions.net
Hopefully this gives you some sense of my background. I work with the highest integrity, have a good sense of humor and am very detail oriented. It gives me great joy to fix things for people who need the help.
